The Colourful "Sky Tower"
At 328 metres tall the Sky Tower is New Zealand's
tallest structure,made mainly of concrete and weighs
20,000 tonnes and was opened in August 1997.
It has been built to withstand winds gusting up to
200 km/hr, or an earthquake measuring 8.0 on the
Richter scale.
